Introduction

This project is a 3 acre (2.75 acres forested, 0.25 acre emergent) wetland restoration.  This site is located within the Choptank River Area - Little Choptank River (02-13-04-02) watershed of Dochester County.    

    

Construction

In the fall 1995, the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Eastern Shore Resource Conservation & Development Council (RC&D) completed construction and planting to restore this wetland from agricultural land.

Status

This site has since developed into a successful wetland system.  This site is on private property.
